Description
This SUITCASE TABLE: includes chrome folding stand. (which I used and carried in the same hand that held the handle on the closed case) ($150.)
SIZE: 12"h x 18"w x 7"base x 3" top (approximate inside)
The middle shelf is removable. One could add a full width front edge to prevent small items from falling out.
One idea I had was to have a couple of light weight trays constructed, similar to the one you would find in a 'tool-box', that would fit completely inside the Suitcase. Having two or more would allow you to have two or more different shows set to go, just by changing the insert!
Another idea that I did not implement, was to use a custom vinyl banner (Vista Print have them) colorfully printed with your Name, Website, Show Name, etc that would clip onto the table-top or the space where the hinges are located. This banner could be short.. or,long enough to reach the floor, providing a hidden area for a ditch bag or larger prop. (the ditch bag could even be the carry on for the prop!)
